CULTURAL CONTACT POINT

According to the Decision of the European Parliament and of the Council established the Culture (2007-2013) Programme, published in the Official Journal n° L 372 of 27 December 2006 countries participating in the Programme have been obligated to set up the Cultural Contact Point that shall be responsible for promotion of the Programme at the national level. Cultural Contact Point's tasks also include: facilitate access to the Programme, encourage participation as many professionals and operators in the cultural fields as possible and dissemination of practical information on the Programme. Cultural Contact Point is co-financed by the European Commission.

Cultural Contact Point co-operates with other institutions and organizations providing aid to the cultural sector in Member States and provides information on the EU cultural policy, community programmes and other funds accessible for cultural operators. The Polish Cultural Contact Point is located in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Warsaw.
